The major focus of the Novation Enterprise Platform Programme (NEPP) is the support and development of the entrepreneur as well as the business idea. It does this through the delivery of a variety of specialist training programmes combined with structured business coaching and mentoring.

The programme is a 9 month programme for entrepreneurs who commit full time to starting businesses in the high tech, ICT and knowledge based fields.

In its first seven years the programme has supported over 70 entrepreneurs and has resulted in 53 start-up businesses employing over 300. Combined annual turnover exceeds €27 million in 2008 with over €39 million raised in venture capital funds.
