About Campus Enterprise
To have a vibrant, successful knowledge economy, Ireland needs to increase the number and quality of indigenous companies and create graduates who are entrepreneurial thinkers and doers particularly those graduates who have not had a business education.
Dundalk Institute of Technology, through the RDC, has initiated a campus wide initiative aimed at embedding entrepreneurship education in non-business disciplines through the ACE Initiative.
DkIT has also adopted a bottom up and peer to peer approach using Student Enterprise Interns to encourage students to explore starting a business as a career option. Students can engage in enterprise activities while at college in a safe and fun environment.
