Kieran FeganICE Programme Manager
Kieran is overall Manager of the €2.5 Million ICE (Innovation for Competitive Enterprises) Programme based at Dundalk Institute of Technology. ICE is a major partnership initiative between University of Ulster, the University of Glasgow and Glasgow Caledonian University and is being led by Dundalk Institute of Technology. The programme is designed to build the innovation capacity and capability of SMEs in Northern Ireland, the six southern border region counties of Ireland and Western Scotland.
Kieran has worked in contract engineering, engineering management, project management, design management and business development management having held senior technical and commercial positions within large manufacturing organisations. Kieran has also set up an engineering design and product development business. More recently, as Centre Manager of a technology business incubator, Kieran advised tech start-ups and delivered a range of support programmes designed to assist individuals and fledgling companies as they moved through the early and growth stages of development.
