Bio Diesel Testing Facilities

Dundalk IT was the recipient of an Enterprise Ireland Research Equipment grant for the Sustainable Transport Experimental Equipment Room.

This equipment allows testing of biodiesel quality by GC-FID and also allows elemental analysis by ICP-OES, flash point determination, acid and iodine number determination, calorimetric value and oxidative stability of biofuels.
